Wilhelmina Cramm
Oudste dochter Wilhelmina draagt niet de naam Kesler. Zij is door een andere familie erkend. Waarom is niet duidelijk. Het verhaal wil dat de erkenning op enigszins slinkse wijze is gebeurd. Maar de verhouding met ouders John William en Sabena werd er niet door besmeurd. Wilhemina is volgens Jan Kesler erkend door een W.F. Cramm. De enige kandidaat met deze voorletters is een Wilhelmus Frederik Hendrik George Cramm. Wilhelmina is volgens Jan Kesler geboren op dezelfde dag als koningin Wilhelmina. Vandaar de naam. Ik vind in de beschikbare archieven geen informatie over een Wilhelmina die geboren is geboren op 31 augustus 1880. Wel vind ik een Wilhelmina Frederika Cramm terug, geboren op 4 februari 1888. Wat ik ook terug vind is een ondertrouw tussen een W.F. Cramm en een B.R.M. Roso in het Bataviaasch nieuwsblad van 29-05-1907. B.R.M. Roso correspondeert met hoofdcommies departement gouvernementsbedrijven Bruno Richard Michiel Roso, die zich in 1929 in Nederland bevind zonder echtgenote. Op 6 juni keert hij terug naar Bandung. De regeringsalmanakken vermelden ook hun huwelijk op 5 juni 1907. Ook vind ik een akte van overlijden terug. Hierop wordt expliciet vermeld dat Wilhelmina Frederika Cramm een dochter was van Wilhelmus Frederik Hendrik George Cramm en Niang Sapit Tionghoa. Volgens de Regerinsalmanak van 1941 stierf Wilhelmus Frederik Hendrik George Cramm in Nederlands-Indië op 11 auguistus 1940. Wilhelmina Frederika stierf te Ewijk, Nederland op 25 juli 1960, oud 72 jaar.
Eldest daughter Wilhelmina did not get the name Kesler. The acknowledgement of paternity was given by another person. It's not clear why. The story goes that it has happened rather secretly. But that did not change the relations between John William, Sabena and the other family. According to his son Jan, the acknowledgement of paternity was given by a W.F. Cramm. The only candidate I find in the archives is that of one Wilhelmus Frederik Hendrik George Cramm. According to Jan Kesler, Wilhelmina was born on the same day as former Dutch Queen Wilhelmina. Hence the name she was given. Strange enough I didn't find a child with the name of Wilhelmina on that particular date august31, 1880. I do find Wilhelmina Frederika Cramm who was born on february 4, 1888. I also found a betrothal with a B.R.M. Roso. These initials correspond with a Bruno Richard Michiel Roso, who was head civil servant at the government's companies. In 1929 he resides in the Netherlands without wife ro children. On june 6 he returns to Bandung. The government almanacs also mention their marriage on jun 5, 1907. I also found their death certidicates. It says that Wilhelmina Frederika Cramm was a daughter of Wilhelmus Frederik Hendrik George Cramm and Niang Sapit Tionghoa. According to the Government almanac of 1941 Wilhelmus Frederik Hendrik George Cramm died in the Dutch Indies Indië on august 11, 1940.Wilhelmina Frederika passed away in Ewijk, the Netherlands, at juli 25, 1960, 72 years old.

Volgens oorlogsgravenstichting is Bruno Richard Michiel 57 jaar geworden. Hij is geboren op 11 juni 1888 te Batavia en overleden in het Juliana Ziekenhuis te Bandung op 28 september 1945. Zijn graf is te vinden op het Nederlands ereveld in vak/rij/nummerV 94.
According to the War Graves Foundation, Bruno Richard Michiel has turned 57. He was born on June 11, 1888 in Batavia and died in the Juliana Hospital in Bandung on September 28, 1945. His grave can be found on the Dutch War Cemetery in box/row/number V 94.
